TROP CONFORTABLE EN VILLE.
After exploring the establishment, we all went out to lunch. Jason joined us, who is another cousin who I had not seen for ages. Our dining destination was a bison restaurant not too far from their industrial park. Bison meat is much more common out west, but I had yet to consume some during my travels. My meal was a bison burger with an egg, fries, and an amber ale. It was extraordinary, and I cleaned my plate in record time.
After our lunch, Traci and I made our way back to the house. We both got on our devices and did some diligent work. The laptop repair place called with some news on my MacBook. It would be a costly repair, and he needed to order parts from China. This could take weeks, and I have waited long enough. I have owned this laptop for five years, so I figured it was smart to put that money toward a new computer.
Slowly, I have been moving away from Apple products, and this was my last gadget from that particular brand. With this new information, we drove to the repair shop. I paid the diagnosis fee and retrieved my broken computer. When we got back to home base, I did a little more work. Feeling accomplished, I retired to the basement for a much-needed Netflix session. I still had a few episodes of the last dance to finish off.
The announcement of dinner dragged me from the television. Glenn was back from work now, and the three of us had grilled chicken and salad. It was yummy, but I was still starved. After raiding the fridge, I heated up some mashed potatoes, chicken, and pasta. We spent the evening chatting around the kitchen. It was time for bed. I retreated to the basement to finish off the series. These Denver days are spoiling me. I am genuinely undeserving of all this comfort and pampering. These are just a few thoughts that I muster up in my mind as a drift asleep.
